BEAR SWIMMING Workout 111714
Stretching and light dryland core strengthening. 321 Warmup - 300 Swim, 200 Pull,100 Kick. 3( 25,50,75)Swim stroke , One round of each stroke less free. 200 Freestyle for time. 3(25,50,75) Kick stroke order less free.200 IM for time . 3( 25,50,75) drill stroke less free. Each set is on a tight interval -team rest or 5 seconds. 12 x 25 (odds heads up freestyle, evens IM order.6 x 100 Free(odds drill). 200 warm down.

Recent inquiries to weight bearing swim specific excercises for our Senior swimmers has led to some solid references: "Sprint Salo Book" available as a pdf on Team unify,also Dr Salo's "Complete Conditioning for Swimming" available at Amazon. I also have training tips from Anthony Ervin,Natalie Coughlin and USA Swimming.
