BEAR SWIMMING Workout 082818
Recap of Thursday and Monday practices: Thursday :builds and finishes concentrating on changing gears. 3000 yards.Monday 100’s day; Plenty of rounds of 100’s in all flavors centering around 10x on the 2:00 (lots of rest). Today’s set : 200 Tuesday ( broken into groups of 4 x 50, 2x 75 plus 50, 50,100,50 stroke sandwiches,and 75,100,25. We are focusing on Short Course Yards now and have two events coming up: Keller Cove Open Water, and a SCY Meet to be determined. Week two will feature a slight increase in intensity and volume. Welcome rec swimmers who will be participating in our Fall program allowing them to swim with year rounders until December. High School Swim season is around the corner and Bear Swimmers have a tradition of solid performances and versatility . Thank you for Swimming Bear.
